Panda vs. Hajime Kashimo (2024)

Panda vs. Hajime Kashimo is a battle fought by Tokyo Jujutsu High second-year student, Panda against the incarnated sorcerer, Hajime Kashimo. It occurred in the Tokyo No. 2 Colony during the Culling Game.

Prologue

Panda vs. Hajime Kashimo (1)

Panda's role was to find and negotiate with the Angel while Hakari handled any fighting. However, they got separated when they entered the Tokyo No. 2 Colony's barrier. In order to avoid any fighting inside the colony, Panda pretends to be a normal bear as cover. While sitting on top of shipping crates in an industrial yard next to the ocean, Panda smells the strong scent of blood left behind by nearby battles. He estimates up to three people have been dismembered. While the residual cursed energy is weak, Panda knows that a skilled sorcerer must have turned down their cursed energy.

Panda decides to brave the danger and begin his search for the Angel. He jumps down from the crate and looks around to make sure he's alone before moving out. Just when it appears that the coast is clear, none other than Hajime Kashimo walks through the shipping yard and spots Panda. Panda immediately goes down on all fours and pretends to be a normal bear. Kashimo figures he might have escaped from Ueno Zoo but uses his Kogane to check if Panda is a player. Panda was unaware Kogane could be used in such a manner as the shikigami identifies him as an enemy player for Kashimo.[1]

Battle

Panda vs. Hajime Kashimo (2)

As soon as Kogane confirms Panda is a player, Kashimo blitzes Panda before the latter can complete his thought. Kashimo delivers a powerful right straight punch directly through Panda's lower torso. The impact of Kashimo's punch sends cursed energy through Panda's back and electrifies his entire body, stunning him for a moment. This allows Kashimo to grab his staff and hit Panda in the side with it, sending the cursed corpse crashing into a shipping crate.

Panda vs. Hajime Kashimo (3)

Panda transforms into Gorilla Mode and tries to counterattack with Unblockable Drumming Beat. He hits Kashimo's guard with an open-palm strike and delivers internal damage to his opponent. Kashimo notices the effect of drumming beat right away and uses his staff to trap Panda's arm at the joint before breaking it off. Panda tries to swing at Kashimo with his other arm but the sorcerer avoids it with the former's arm still in hand.

Panda vs. Hajime Kashimo (4)

Kashimo throws Panda's arm at him in what the ladder believes is an attempt to block his vision. Panda immediately turns his upper body to where he expects Kashimo to be and hits that area, but only Kashimo's staff is there. Having fooled his opponent, Kashimo remains in front of Panda and lands a flurry of rapid-fire punches to his head before finishing the combo with a palm thrust that sends Panda into another crate.

Panda vs. Hajime Kashimo (5)

Kashimo calls Panda weak and asks about the location of Sukuna. Surprised to hear someone ask about Sukuna, Panda hesitates for a moment before declining to know who Sukuna is. That pause makes Kashimo believe Panda knows something about Sukuna but the Jujutsu High student refuses to say anything that might compromise Yuji's safety. Panda transforms into his sister's Triceratops Mode and boasts about having the power to destroy anyone she gazes at.

Kashimo quickly goes on the offensive and begins to emit electricity from his body. He separates the charges of his electrified cursed energy, applying the positive charge to Panda before discharging the negative charge from himself. Doing so prevents Kashimo from losing any electricity to the ground, resulting in a lightning bolt that can't miss its target. In a flash of lightning, Panda's body is torn to shreds and splatters blood all around Kashimo as he stands victorious over the eviscerated cursed corpse, once again asking "where's Sukuna?".[2]

Aftermath

Panda vs. Hajime Kashimo (6)

Panda is severely injured by the attack, with two cores and his entire body destroyed save for his head. Kashimo can't tell if Panda is dead but he assumes that isn't the case since he didn't receive any points for eliminating him. He puts Panda's head on his staff like a pike and asks about Sukuna. Panda still refuses to say anything and Kashimo threatens to finish him off.

Just before Kashimo destroys Panda's head, Hakari lands behind him. Wielding limitless cursed energy, Hakari's landing completely crushes a shipping crate and gets Kashimo's attention. Hakari asks Panda if he's lost weight and while Panda is happy help is here, Kashimo is excited by the prospect of a new opponent.[3]
