  I like zombies. I like zomedies. I like wrestling. This was decent. Set in a wrestling arena where over the course of one night a handful of wrestlers have to fight their way out after other wrestlers and the fans in attendance turn into raging zombies! Adrian Pasdar and Randy Couture are among the competent cast but the stars of this lil gem are Chris Margetis and Mike Carey as the Manson bros(Stone and Skull Manson).

  This was much better than the Pro Wrestlers Versus Zombies from 2014 which starred actual wrestling legends like Rowdy Roddy Piper and Kurt Angle.

  Bei dem Titel verspricht der Film natürlich einiges. Da überrascht es wohl kaum, dass er diesem zu keinem Zeitpunkt gerecht wird.

  Zwei abgehalfterte Wrestling-Brüder nehmen an einem Mitternachtskampf an Halloween teil. Die Wrestling-Arena wird aufgrund eines aufkommenden Sturms abgeriegelt. Blöd nur, dass sowohl das Publikum als auch die Kontrahenten sich mit einer mutierten Tollwut angesteckt haben. Lediglich ausgestattet mit ihren Kampfkünsten, stellen sich die Brüder dem Virus entgegen.

  Hat tatsächlich in den Hauptrollen zwei ältere Wrestler, die ich vom Namen her gar nicht kannte. Überraschenderweise sind die hier noch das geringste Problem.

  Im Cast finden sich unter anderem Leute wie Randy Couture, D.B. Sweeney und Adrian Pasdar wieder. Einige Bekannte aus der Branche wie Bas Rutten oder Michael O'Hearn dürfen…

  This was the last movie I could find on Tubi from my best horror movies list, for now anyway. I was surprised to see someone put this movie on such a list just because I had never heard of it before. With such a long title, it stands out some. Honestly, I can see how this movie might end up being a favorite for someone out there. The story has to do with a wrestling tag team called The Manson Brothers. Actually, the story starts with a son asking his father about a comic book about The Manson Brothers and then the story picks up with them from there. The brothers are getting older and are on an indy circuit…

  I like the cast a lot. I was expecting it to be a lot sh*ttier than it was. It’s probably hyper specific to my taste in indie wrestling but I like it.

  Horrorx52 2022 #16: Features a pro wrestler.
  Okay, so there's no pro wrestler in this. But it's MMA fighters playing pro wrestlers. I think it's true to the spirit of the prompt.
  This movie is exactly what you expect it to be, but just a little bit better.

  this is a gimmick movie and your enjoyment will likely depend on how much the gimmick appeals to you. i knew i would be a mark for the gimmick so i figured this would be a fun three and it was. if they'd had better gore effects, it might have gone even higher but it's a little too tame to get into that real cult classic territory.

  Wrestling, Zombies, Trash: Mit The Manson Brothers Midnight Zombie Massacre gelingt Max Martini ein unglaublich unterhaltsamer Spaß der in seinen 92 Minuten aus allen DTV-Rohren ballert, aber im Rahmen seines Budget von unter 2 Millionen Dollar durchaus wertig ausschaut und irgendwie einen ganz witzigen Charme hat. Chris Margetis und Mike Carey als Wrestling-Brüder Stone und Skill Manson die an Halloween ein Mitternachtsmatch worken sollen haben eine tolle Chemie, die Nebenfiguren passen ebenfalls perfekt und zumindest kennt man die Glatzen von Randy Couture und Bas Rutten. Es wird geblutet, gesplattert und gebissen, der Humor ist ordinär und alles an The Manson Brothers Midnight Zombie Massacre ist so wunderbar hemdsärmelig dass man ihn einfach mögen muss - vorrausgesetzt man…

  Wrestling and horror have always gone hand in hand, both in terms of their fandom, and the fact that sooner or later, every wrestler-turned-actor winds up appearing in a horror movie at some point in their career. (This one features Randy Couture.)

  Some of this, admittedly, doesn’t work. The framework scenes of a trailer trash family reading a Manson Brothers comic book are odd and unnecessary. It also takes way too long to finally get to the zombie action. Still, it features two scenes I’ve never seen in a zombie movie before, which makes it marginally worthwhile. First is the scene where a character gets one look at a zombie and immediately drops dead of a heart attack. The second involves a wrestler waving a cape like a matador at a zombie dressed in a chorizo costume who charges at him like a bull. So, there’s that.

  This was bad f*cking ass

  The characters are awesome...the chemistry between the brothers is great.. the whole cast is excellent...its got some legit laugh out loud moments

  The atmosphere just feels authentic to an indie wrestling show

  The action is good....honestly I really don't have much to complain about

  I seriously would love a whole series of movies with the manson Brothers....I highly recommend this one...its a blast

  🌼💀Spook-a-Doodle Half-Way-to-Halloween ’23: Spring Cleaning💀🌼

  This was way better than it had any right to be. I couldn't sleep and was feeling down and just wanted a horror comedy so I popped this on half hoping it would be bad enough for me to doze off and take it off my watchlist. But it actually amused me. I heard about this a year or so ago on Svengoolie. Corny dad jokes, wrestling, and zombies are a combination that definitely should entertain me and it did. Probably not for everyone. You may need to be kind of familiar with the inner workings of wrestling to get the more workplace comedy aspects of this. But they were very good and very clever.…
